Good Beginnings

Good Beginnings is a Parent/Caregiver and Infant drop-in group organized by Alberta Health Services Early Childhood Intervention program.  Each week, a different topic is discussed.

Every Wednesday 11:00 am to 12:15 pm.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person programming is on hold. However, the program is currently being offered via Zoom.

Moms Matter Postpartum Support Group

For many women, the transition into motherhood can prove to be more difficult than expected. If you or someone you love is struggling, this group is there to help. The weekly support group is led by trained facilitators and provides a safe place for mothers to connect with other mothers in a similar situation and receive valuable information and emotional support. This is a drop-in group where babies are always welcome.

Every Tuesday 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Hub Family Resource Centre in Timberlea

The Hub

The Hub is a non-profit charitable organization which provides fun, interactive and educational programs and services to the families residing in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and their children aged newborn to six years old, free of charge.  There is a location both downtown and in Timberlea.
